MATTHEW BARNEY FILM AND PERFORMANCE KHU
Worked with world-renowned artist Matthew Barney on production for his 2nd major film and performance, “KHU”, as part of his art series project Ancient Evenings that took place October 2nd, 2010 in and around Detroit. The more than 6 1/2 hour performance draws inspiration from a 1983 Norman Mailer novel of the same title. Production work included hiring and coordinating over 50 professional classical and jazz musicians and injecting over $50,000 into the Michigan arts economy.
